College students that love binging TV shows and new music, rejoice: Spotify and Hulu are teaming up to offer a new streaming bundle deal for just $5 a month.

Hulu's Limited Commercials plan will now be tacked on to Spotify's Premium student accounts, combining both streaming services in a single subscription.

Spotify's current student option costs $5 per month already, so the new deal essentially adds Hulu's plan, which typically costs $8, for free.

Students who already have a Spotify account will be able to access Hulu immediately, once they validate their status. Existing Hulu subscriptions (without any premium add-ons like HBO or Showtime) will be added to the new account.

Spotify never partnered with a video platform before joining up with Hulu. The music streaming giant's own efforts to go visual have largely fallen flat since being introduced in 2015, and top exec Tom Calderone departed from the company last month (he was quickly replaced by former Disney exec Courtney Holt). Spotify said it will focus its video programming going forward on popular playlists like RapCaviar and Rock This.

The new deal is only available for undergrads in the U.S. for now — but that could soon change. The companies called the package a "first step" for bundles going forward, hinting at other deals in the works for the wider market. Broke college students will be the first to benefit from the streaming alliance, but we might all get a chance a cheap TV and music soon.
